Bitstamp Website Triggers Malware Infection Warnings

Accessing the Bitstamp website through a mobile browser does not seem to be triggering any warnings for now. Google Chrome usually warns users if they are visiting a site which can potentially harm their computer. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case just yet.
Several Reddit users are complaining about a malware warning when visiting the Bitstamp website. Bitstamp is one of the biggest Bitcoin exchanges in all of Europe. By the look of things, there is a specific Trojan warning detected by Windows Defender. For now, it is anybody’s guess where this warning comes from, and whether or not it is a concern.
It is never a fun experience to open up a Bitcoin website and immediately see a malware warning. Unfortunately for Bitstamp users, that is exactly what is going on right now. The company has yet to issue an official statement regarding this potential problem, though.
