Interpol Creates Digital Currency To Fight Bitcoin Crimes

In a world where everything is going digital, how can the police keep up to speed with crimes being committed online?
Interpol’s new international anti-cybercrime center in Singapore has created its own cryptocurrency in a bid to fight crime involving virtual currencies like Bitcoin, the Strait Times said.
The Interpol Global Complex for Innovation (IGCI) is the agency’s first digital crime center and cybercrime research and development capabilities. It became operational earlier this month.
