Bitcoin Price: A Rally and a Retreat

NEW YORK (InsideBitcoins) – Since February 26th, the price of bitcoin has been on a solid rally, mounting a 20% gain in less than a week, but by Tuesday evening (ET) the digital currency began to back down from its period high of $285. Bitcoin languished near $270 as of 6 a.m. Thursday morning New York time, according to the Inside Bitcoins Price Tracker.
