BITCOIN BRIEFS: COPAY OPENS ITS WINDOWS APP, HYPRKEY TAKES PREORDERS

NEW YORK (InsideBitcoins) – It’s been a busy year already in the cryptocurrency industry. We keep a close eye on blockchain developments and here are the items that have most recently crossed our news desk:
Copay, an open source multi-signature bitcoin wallet platform, is now offering a Windows Phone app. BitPay, the Atlanta-based bitcoin payment processor, developed the wallet in early 2014 for its own corporate use. The software is used for transactions requiring multiple authorizations, making it ideal for business funds management.
‘This is one of our contributions to the Bitcoin technology,’ said Stephen Pair, CEO of BitPay. ‘Microsoft’s support has enabled us to make our code available to a new group of developers and companies. We look forward to seeing how Copay evolves.’
BitPay encourages developers to review and build upon its open source software. The software is still in beta and the company says should only be used with small amounts of bitcoin for testing purposes.
