The Bitcoin Indonesia founder Oscar Darmawan explains why this is so important.
‘The majority of the Indonesian people do not have a bank account with a bank. Because of this only a 10-20% of the indonesian people actually have a bank account, the rest don’t. This is a huge oversight on the banking sector to not address this difference. That is why we created this bitcoin over the counter system.
